The main table in this page gives an (hopefully) exhaustive list of the variables required by AMIP, GLASS, IPCC and PMIP. The letter in the last column corresponds to the project where the variable is required

Notes:

- The variables have been alphabetically sorted or grouped (when possible) with the matching or related AMIP variables.
- The AMIP variables' names follow a strict naming convention.
- More details about AMIP variables are available on the AMIP II Standard Model output page.
*A1*variables were found only in*AMIP II Standard Model output*, and*A2*variables only in the Standard Variable Listing (what does that mean?). - There are neither standard names, nor standard units specified for
the requested IPCC variables. We use therefore only the generic names
*ipccvar*and*ipccunit*in the table below. The names used by different modelling groups can be found in the*Survey of available SRES Scenarion Runs*page .
